24/7/365 Advanced Life Support Ambulance Transport

ATS Medical Services offers both emergency and non-emergency transportation while providing Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, and Critical Care Transportation. Each of our ambulances is staffed with a minimum of one (1) Paramedic and one (1) EMT-Basic. On an as needed basis, ATS is able to provide Critical Care Transportation with an Expanded Scope or Critical Care Paramedic (and/or a Registered Nurse) for patients that require a ventilator or IV pump. ATS also provides non-emergent wheelchair van transportation for persons that are unable to ride in a car. ATS runs a variety of calls, including 911 calls, emergent and non-emergent skilled nursing facility responses, hospital discharges, dialysis, doctor appointments, special event standbys (including MMA fights and Motocross) and disaster deployments (Hurricanes Gustav and Ike, Fall, 2008 and Haiti Earthquake Relief, Spring, 2010). ATS also is a leader in education and encourages students to complete their field internship requirements with ATS for a wide variety of patient care and contacts. ATS has educators that can teach CPR, ACLS, PALS, ITLS, PHTLS, ICS and EVOC courses.

Staffing Services

ATS Staffing is a rapidly growing part of our organization. The Staffing side was formed as the result of Paramedic and EMT shortages in the rural communities and has blossomed into a one-stop shop of its own. The primary role of ATS Staffing is to provide fire departments or communities with Paramedics and/or EMT’s on a contractual basis to ensure medical coverage is in place for their community. As a result of an additional request for assistance, ATS Staffing began offering billing and dispatching services as well. In addition to those services, ATS is also a contractor with the United States and provides crew to the Government at military posts throughout the country.
